In its regular meeting held by the Hariri Regional Government Council (Cabinet), it discussed various issues and passed a decision.
The Government Council discussed and approved a draft regulation mainly to determine the coordination, protection and operational system of infrastructure works.
It has been mentioned that the draft regulation issued to determine the coordination, protection and operational system of infrastructure works will ensure the establishment of a modern, efficient and integrated infrastructure and construction system in a continuous manner.
In particular, the rule is said to help infrastructure constructions to be mutually beneficial, reduce overlapping costs, achieve sustainable development and provide long-term service.
In view of the universal importance of infrastructure works and their irreplaceable contribution, it is said that it will be possible to establish a clear operating system that can show the joint and individual capabilities and responsibilities of all stakeholders in order to reduce the risks that may cause damage.
The government council discussed the regulation extensively and decided to make it effective from today, August 2, 2016.
In addition to this, the Governing Council will hold discussions on other agendas and pass a decision.
